A Modern Topography
Gallery installation at GENERATOR Projects, Dundee, 2008.
Mixed media installation in plaster, card, paper, iron, wood and still image projection.
A Modern Topography explored the micro and the macro scales of imagined spaces created through the photography of architectural models and sculptural objects, inspired by architectural classical shapes: the tower, the colloseum, the arc and obelisks for example and by literature about utopias (non-places). In interacting with the gallery space the works and the observers of the work offered a glimpse of potential imaginary spaces conjured as a result.

MAGAZINE’07
An installation made during the Edinburgh Fringe Arts Festival, Edinburgh, at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (ESW)
Situated in the rough ground of the ESW in 2007 this installation engaged with the pavilion space to test out sculptural interactions based on historical and architectural features of Newhaven. The space evolved from day to day and a blog was published at the time on the former ESW website to document the changing installation work.
